We want cancelling to be as easy as subscribing. This policy explains how cancellation, trials, renewals and refunds work for paid HazardHarbor plans.
How to cancel
Workspace owners can cancel at any time from Account → Billing → Manage billing → Cancel plan. You can also ask us to cancel for you through Contact support (topic "Cancellation or refund request"). We'll confirm cancellation by email.
Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription immediately.
What happens when you cancel
Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew. You won't be charged again.
At the end of the period your workspace moves to the free Explorer plan. Nothing is deleted: you keep full read, export and delete access to all your records. Creating new records is limited to Explorer limits. On the Team plan, members keep access to existing records, but new invitations are disabled.
You can resubscribe at any time to restore paid features.
Free trials
Your first paid subscription includes a 14-day free trial. If you didn't add a payment method, the trial simply ends and you are never charged. If you did, you can cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. We send a reminder before a trial with a payment method converts to paid.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period using your payment method on file until you cancel. For yearly plans we email a reminder before renewal.
30-day money-back guarantee
If you're not satisfied, request a refund within 30 days of your first paid charge on a HazardHarbor subscription and we'll refund that charge in full and cancel the subscription.
Other refunds
Outside the 30-day guarantee, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time after you cancel, except: (a) if you were charged in error or more than once; (b) if a renewal occurred and you request a refund within 7 days without having used paid features since the renewal; (c) if we materially fail to provide the Service for an extended period; or (d) where required by law.
Plan changes made through the billing portal (for example monthly to yearly, or Coordinator to Team) are prorated automatically by Stripe as credits or charges.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically post refunds within 5–10 business days.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
